So today is Monday. I know I have been absent from this diary for a while and I am starting to get some grief from my fellow diarylanders...so here goes a real entry for a change.

My dad was married a week ago, went on his honeymoon and came home Saturday. I am still working out all the complex feelings I have about his new bride, but he seems really happy.

House plans are coming together. I have been approved for the loan, picked out the modular home I want, and spoken again with my grandmother about the land. She has given me the go-ahead to talk with my uncle about a variety of things that involve him and this particular land. If all goes well by the end of January I will be ordering my new house. Did I ever mention that it would be located in my backyard? It is going to a fairly simple move.

Also, I am waiting on approval for my New Year's Party from dad and his new wife...They are thinking of having a party that night as well. Many people have asked about the traditional New Year's at Becky's house, and I want you all to know that I am working on it. *Next year hopefully, we can have the party at MY house.
