[10:32 a.m.] [2002-12-13] Hey guess what? My company is yet again putting off raises. I have been here for over two years without a raise, granted I changed jobs and received a pay increase, but I want to be recognized for the stellar performance appraisals I have received. I wonder which year they will base the raise on when they finally give one to us? What if all of this "yes you'll get a raise, ops no money for raises, try back in July", will affect my performance appraisals? Why do companies wonder why employees leave them for new opportunities with other companies? How can an employer expect loyalty when they pay 90% of their employees the same amount as the sum of the top 10% earners? For example, the senior management (10%) gets paid a TON OF MONEY and the other 90% of the employees earn the equivalent total sum of senior salaries divided by 600. The formula: 600(PE)=SMS $$+$$= Lining the SMS's pockets with cash $$/PE= SMS = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Argh!!! I am tired of the SM saying that there is no money and then checking the Yahoo insider trading board and seeing this: Date Number of shares Proceeds 12/02/02 52,900 $800,588.00 11/01/02 54,000 $803,952.00 10/01/02 89,000 $809,098.00 08/07/02 6,447,850 $64,000,000.00 11/07/01 3,100,000 $98,115,000.00 09/04/01 290,000 $12,055,000.00 08/21/02 180,000 $8,550,000.00 05/30/01 50,000 $2,250,000.00 05/11/01 1,000,000 $47,479,000.00 01/10/01 960,000 $34,275,840.00 Total number of shares: 12,223,750 Total money made by sales: $269,138,478.00 My total # of shares: 0 Total money made by sale of my shares: $0 Where is the love? |
