[Keep this up and I'm going to Maine]

So I did everything right, even offered $5000 more than asking, no contingencies, extra time for the resident to move, and still did not get the house. What do I have to do to get a home of my own? It shouldn't be this hard. My 3rd house, 3rd offer, and they have always taken the other offer. I am so sad and so mad at the same time. What makes it worse is that I will never know why they chose the other offer over mine...never...
